Being born, raised, and living in three different continents, Raghda gets inspired by every aspect, place, time, and motion. Art in general takes her mind to places where she can ponder for hours. Raghda’s love of nature, living things, and traveling to distant lands are emphasized in her art.
As far as her memory can go back, she always loved sketching and drawing. She enjoyed pencils as a comfortable and forgiving medium.
Her first breakthrough as an artist was back when she was 10 years young. She was gifted every medium she could dream of. From pastels to gauche, and from acrylic to oil paintings and many more.
Raghda started to create simple yet apprehensive artworks for school magazines. Her work was recognized, and awarded throughout her school years.
Creating art has been Raghda’s resort at the moments of distress. This is when she had her second breakthrough, and she knew she needed to start again. She re-adopted her talent after being injured while practicing her duty as a nurse shortly after graduation. Unable to get back to work, she was inspired to paint once again. Her art evolved quickly. Raghda was able to create more sophisticated and detailed figurative, landscape, and still life artworks.
As a believer that art can bring people together, and be the gate toward unifying our differences, Raghda has a series that represents part of her identity to show the beauty of the common ground among religions. She has been exhibiting her work since 2018. Raghda is an award winner artist in multiple genre.
The love for nature, living things, and traveling to distant lands are at the heart of my artwork. Every aspect of daily life, every place, time, and motion inspire me to create.
In my paintings, whether it's figurative, landscape, or still life, I often choose a message to convey in a painting before choosing the subject matter.
Even though oil painting is my favorite medium, but I may use divergent materials and techniques. This helps me in creating phases of progression throughout my work while preserving the main methodology.
I lean toward realism art, seeking sophisticated details and depth. As a source of existence of all colors collectively, I like to emphasize the bouncing light on my subject matter. Carrying the mood to walk through the painting.
Currently, I’m embarked on a unique and challenging journey to share people's stories through their portraits. Calligraphy and/or languages also might be present as a powerful tool to mirror the different cultures, and history that my artwork portrays.
